Free Educational Resource for Social Studies/History

I was perusing a few articles on the Lifeway website the other day when I ran across something very interesting to me. The American Heritage Education Foundation has made available FREE resources to anyone and everyone with internet access.

AHEF is a non-profit, non-partisan organization, according to its website, and is "dedicated to the understanding and teaching of America's factual and philosophical heritage to promote constructive citizenship and Freedom, Unity, Progress, and Responsibility among our students and citizens."

Here is the link to the article I found at Lifeway's website. Free lesson plans may be downloaded here, or they may be ordered on CD. (P.S. I think it is cool that you can choose the National Edition or the Texas Edition! Wonder what the difference is...)

As we will be studying American History this year, I have bookmarked the website and downloaded the introduction.
