Family Life Weekend to Remember

DH & I just got back from a weekend trip to the Crescent City attending a Family Life Weekend to Remember. Although we had to overcome some obstacles--mainly financial--to get there, let me just say that it was worth every ounce of sacrifice and effort we had to make.

Family Life is a ministry headed by Dennis and Barbara Rainey based in Little Rock, Arkansas. As their name implies, their focus/mission is all about ministering to the needs of the family. Stronger marriages make stronger families, and that is what a Weekend to Remember is all about--strenthening marriages.

What a treat for a us to be able to step away from our responsibilities for 48 hours to just BE, to just enjoy being together as a couple. We were able to have a conversation and to complete a sentence. GASP! I can't remember the last time that happened since having kids... And we are so excited to be back home to share with other couples the experience we had and the information and encouragement we received.

There are so many options available for partnering with Family Life that we are not sure where to start! I am in the process of completing training to be a Family Life E-mentor, ministering to other wives and mothers in an online forum. DH & I are praying about starting a Homebuilders small group in our home and/or organizing an Art of Marriage event.

If you are interested in attending a Weekend to Remember, we would like to offer you a 50% discount off the regular rate of $318 per couple. By registering through our group link, you will be able to attend for only $159 per couple. And this discount is good for ANY location where a conferece is being held.
